It's been nearly a year since I last updated this blog. Forgive me. I was busy with my medical internship which was a stressful and taxing period for me. And as of right now my time is occupied with the upcoming medical boards this coming August. I've been reviewing and studying my brains out and tying up other loose ends for my hospital clearance. All in all, it has left me physically and mentally exhausted. 

So much has happened the past year. Some good and some bad. But it was fun nevertheless.

Colorblocking is nice and everything but I'm still in love with the warm shades of tan, beige and peach.

Like this one. There's something relaxing about the way she dressed.

I've spent most of the time in the hospital leaving me none to spare in dressing up the way I usually do. So really, it's not my fault I'm only resorting in searching the web for these pieces.

It's Manila Day over here. And since the outpatient department closes during holidays, I don't get to come in at an ungodly hour at the hospital and plus, I had the luxury of sleeping in late. It kind of feels like I'm back at school when classes are suspended during holidays.

On the downside, it's been pouring here nonstop because of a tropical storm and the streets are quite flooded. I made plans to go out today with a friend but due to the unending rain, those plans went down the drain. All I'm doing since I got up was watch movies. Now, I'm updating my music list. It's been a while since I've done that. I feel like there's a bunch of new artists I haven't heard yet. 

I've been meaning to update for quite awhile now but I've been busy with my recent graduation and taking care of the requirements for my internship that I've put it on hold. So much has happened in the past 4 months. I won't tell all of the boring details. That will take me a whole day to write about. Maybe in the future posts, I'll slip in a bit but not now. Certainly, not all.

In summary, here's what happened:
a. Survived my Internal Medicine rotation during my clerkship. Hell of a 2-month rotation, is what it is. Had fun with my co-clerk and our duty interns.
b. Passed my oral revalida. Almost didn't made it but thankfully, C was there to be my savior.
c. Graduated as part of the Quadrecentennial batch of UST. Added the title, M.D. at the end of my name.

Now, I have time to relax because majority of the country is observing the Holy Week. The malls and offices are closed. I've just read Beth Revis's Across the Universe and currently reading Lauren Oliver's Delirium. I'm also on the hunt for a decent camera, one that's like a digital SLR. Any recommendations are very much appreciated.

So that's me in a jiffy, what about you guys?

Happy New Year everyone! How did you spend the first day of 2011?

I spent mine in the hospital on 24-hour clerk duty. I wish I were at home instead together with my family. Mostly, I wanted to be with my grandmother on her 80th birthday and I know for a fact that all our relatives came to celebrate it with her. My mom told me in advance that she and my aunts and uncle were planning to gather at our house on the first of January and surprise my grandmother. I haven't asked her yet how that went but I'm guessing I missed out on a lot of fun.

Another Rob Pattinson movie to look out for! Can't wait for this one. Haven't read the book yet but I have it here in my bookshelf. Can't find the time to read it anyways.


What do you think of his co-star? Think they'll have real on-screen chemistry? Although I am glad they picked a talented actress to star opposite him, I don't want the movie to suffer just because they don't have the chemistry. But I'm sure this movie will not be a box-office flop just as I'm sure that all RPattz fans will see this.
